As of Wednesday 28th of May, sessions will move to Wednesdays for the foreseeable future.

Jiu Jitsu - A martial art aimed primarily at self-defence.

Translating as the 'Gentle Art', Jiu Jitsu uses technique and movement rather than strength and is therefore a martial art suitable to all. Training in Jiu Jitsu helps develop awareness of situations and confidence in dealing with them as well as the actual ability to protect yourself.

The training sessions are also a good form of exercise and a good way to meet new people.

We currently train on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 in the Stansfeld Gym at the Polhill Campus of the University of Bedfordshire.

The club is open to everyone over the age of 18 whether a student of the University of Bedfordshire or not.

As a member of the Aiuchi Jiu Jitsu Association the club must adhere to certain standards, therefore you can be certain that the instructors are all qualified and that the club is run in a reputable way.
